Quiet homes
One or two adults, no pets, shoes off at the door: about once a year, or when traffic lanes start to show.
Carpet care guide
For most homes, a professional cleaning about once a year keeps carpet looking its best. Homes with pets, young kids or heavy foot traffic often book every 6 months. In between, regular vacuuming and quick spot care do most of the work.
A simple guide
One or two adults, no pets, shoes off at the door: about once a year, or when traffic lanes start to show.
Shedding, paws and the occasional accident: about every 6 months, with pet treatment if there are spots.
Spills, crumbs and floor play: about every 6 months for the rooms they use most.
Moving in or out, hosting the holidays, or listing a home are good times to schedule a cleaning.
These are general guidelines, not rules. Some carpet warranties ask for professional cleaning at set intervals, so check yours.
Signs it's time
Darker paths in hallways and in front of the couch mean soil has built up in the fibers.
Pile that stays flat where people walk most.
Pet or household odors that come back after vacuuming.
A cleaned spot that slowly comes back usually means residue deeper down.
Between cleanings
Once or twice a week in busy rooms removes grit that wears carpet down.
Blot, don't rub, and use as little water as possible.
A mat at each door catches a lot of dirt before it reaches the carpet.
The simplest way to keep traffic lanes from forming.
Book a cleaning
The $99 standard package covers up to five rooms, two hallways and one standard staircase, or $149 with pet treatment. A small package starts at $75 ($85 with pet treatment), and each additional area is $15. Plus applicable tax. Appointments are Monday through Friday.
Ready when you are
Booking opens our scheduler, Housecall Pro. It asks for your address first to check that you’re in our service area; that check doesn’t book or charge anything. Then you choose the service and a weekday time, and you get a text confirmation. No payment to book.
